Marissa is a NYC based actor originally from Southern NJ. She has received her MFA in Acting from Ohio University and her BFA in Acting from NYU-Tisch / Stella Adler Studio. Marissa currently resides in Astoria, NY and has a grotesque obsession with her cat Bubbles. She considers this a defining personality trait.

Marissa is excited to be working on Wrong Side of Heaven, a short film directed by Nicolas de Mones, where she'll be playing a Texas mom!
February 2013:
Marissa was recently cast in Greg Abbott's Scars, directed by Veronica Dang, a short play in the Take Ten Festival (March 19 - 24).
January 2013:
Marissa will be working with The Educational Theater of New York, bringing theater to students of English as a Second Language. The Gioconda Smile will perform in April at the Richard Shepard Theatre. http://www.etnyarts.org
